This is an onsite position. The individual must reside within commuting distance to our Corporate office in Reston, VA, and be onsite 5 days/week.

Job Description:

The senior business analyst must have at least 5 years of experience and possess strong written and verbal communication skills that translate into clear requirements for both technical experts and business owners. The analyst should be capable of providing detailed, comprehensive, testable, and traceable process components in formats such as Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Data Requirements, System Software Specifications, Use Cases, etc. Experience with tools like GitHub, Jira, and MS Office suite is expected.

Essential Functions & Duties:

• Conduct requirement sessions with customers
• Document requirements as FRDs and mockups
• Clarify requirements as needed
• Facilitate UAT sessions with customers
• Perform unit and system testing
• Document test cases and results
• Present analysis and alternative documents to obtain customer buy-in

Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications:

• Experience interacting with clients and understanding application needs and business domains
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and developers
• Capability to create project deliverables such as FRDs, mockups, test scripts, and business needs documents
• Creative thinking to develop scenarios clients and team members may not have considered

Required Experience:

• GitHub (Required)
• Expertise in MS Office suite (Required)

Additional Requirements:

US Citizenship or Work Authorization with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Education & Experience:

6+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an MBA/Master's in related fields.

Compensation:

The estimated pay range is $65,000 - $95,000, depending on various factors including experience, education, location, and market conditions.

Physical Requirements:
