Job summary

CSS in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, document business needs, and interface with product owners. The role involves guiding agile ceremonies, documenting requirements in issue trackers, and ensuring alignment with project goals across cross-disciplinary teams.

The position requires 7+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Agile processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA for PM and software development.
• CBPA certification preferred.
• On-site government agency support experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout employment.

• Participate in the software development lifecycle process, including with end users, product owners, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Lead and actively participate in the development and implementation of new processes that improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
• May oversee or mentor junior analysts and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated experience using Agile processes and methodologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience using JIRA software for project management and software development
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBPA) certification preferred
• Prior experience with on-site government agency support preferred
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
