The SDTM/CDASH Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter resource in clinical trial data standards, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical development to deliver high-quality data solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) with a deep understanding of SDTM and CDASH standards, providing guidance on data transformation and clinical trial processes.
• Clarify business rules, processes, and workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and reporting.
• Align development efforts with corporate initiatives, defining release scope and overseeing sprint planning and progress to achieve high-value outcomes.
• Translate business needs into well-defined product requirements, prioritizing and managing the product backlog effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create user stories in Jira, ensuring they are testable and aligned with business objectives, while providing detailed acceptance criteria and scenarios.
• Assist with project planning, risk management, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery of projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of CDASH and SDTM standards in clinical trial systems.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, backlog management, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence for collaboration and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and development teams.
• Experience in producing technical documentation, including Requirements Specifications and Traceability Matrices, and understanding of SDLC processes.
• Ability to manage multiple related projects simultaneously and articulate system integration points clearly.
