Hiring: Business Analyst – Scientific & Research Data

Duration: Long term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in scientific or research-related data, preferably with knowledge of chemical synthesis, analytical chemistry, chemical reactions, and synthesis data.

The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, gather and document requirements, analyze complex data-related workflows, and support successful project delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Work with scientific and research-related data, including chemical synthesis and analytical chemistry information.
• Collaborate with scientific, business, and technical stakeholders to understand workflows, processes, and data requirements.
• Analyze chemical reactions, synthesis processes, and related data to support business needs.
• Translate complex business and scientific requirements into clear documentation and actionable deliverables.
• Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and align expectations.
• Support Agile project activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements reviews as applicable.
• Track priorities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify process gaps, analyze problems, and recommend practical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience working with scientific, laboratory, or research-related data.
• Knowledge of chemical synthesis, analytical chemistry, chemical reactions, and synthesis data.
