The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for developing user-friendly Sage X3 functionality for all business areas. This position reports to our Business Systems Manager and works to optimize, support and configure Sage X3. In this role you can expect to partner with internal and 3rd party resources to support business applications, day-to-day operations, and lead a variety of projects. This position will work with business leaders to ensure Sage X3 functionality is optimized and drive initiatives to ensure functionality meets business initiatives. This position will create business process mappings for assigned processes and work with stakeholders to ensure processes are optimized.

• Drive Sage X3 functional support with key business leaders
• Work with managers and business leader to identify business needs and implement in Sage X3 software
• Coordinate and test upgrades to Sage X3 and business system software applications
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to mitigate recurrence
• Create functional and technical specifications and direct development teams to complete projects
• Provide Sage X3 functional support to end users and promote efficient use of software
• Fulfill data requests utilizing tools available
• Maintain system development standards and ensure adherence to standards
• Lead a variety of Projects in support of business systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years IT work experience
• Experience supporting business system environment (Sage X3 ERP strongly preferred)
• Experience in providing support to manufacturing and distribution environments
• Advanced knowledge of Business Systems (preferably Sage X3) and ability to lead development of tool to meet business requirements
• Ability to participate on cross functional teams
• Ability to communicate technical matters to a broad internal functional audience
• Proven attention to detail with high-level problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven ability to complete complex projects and meet aggressive deadlines
• Extensive project management or certification in project management a plus
• Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies and practices
• Ability to implement automation to reduce administrative tasks using jobs, scripts and other techniques
• Understanding of Software Development methodologies
