Overview

Business Analyst Lead (Remote) – Cognizant is looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst Lead to conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the telecommunications industry. This role is remote (open to qualified applicants in the United States).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the telecommunications industry.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, including competitor analysis and benchmarking.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding business development, expansion, and investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives, such as product launches, market entry strategies, and pricing strategies.
  • Perform financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and evaluate the financial viability of potential projects or investments.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to create financial models and conduct financial forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a track record of innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Solid understanding of the telecommunications industry, including current trends, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific tools and software, such as market research databases, financial analysis tools, and data visualization software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2-3 years of experience in strategic analysis, business development, or a related role within telecommunications.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: The annual salary for this position is between $90,000.00 and $103,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to plan terms.
