The Business Technology Solutions (BizTech) Business Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Corporate Accounts Receivable Services (CARS) Team in reporting, innovations, migrations, and systems. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving business processes, creating detailed process documents, and drafting clear and effective communication letters. This role requires an eye for detail, solid analytical skills, and excellent written communication abilities. Will work closely with various departments to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all process documentation and communication are accurate and up to date.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documents that outline current business processes

  • Create visual aids such as flowcharts and diagrams to support process documentation

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust as necessary

  • Draft, review, and edit communication letters to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for communication letters

  • Ensure that all communication letters adhere to company standards and guidelines

  • Facilitate meetings to discuss process improvements and gather feedback

  • Provide training and support for staff on new processes and documentation standards

  • Troubleshoot any system or process related issues

  • Ability to lead a project from inception to deployment

  • Support short- and long-term business initiatives

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of professional experience in business or process analysis, finance, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience with process mapping and documentation

  • 3+ years of experience with problem investigation and resolutions skills

  • 2+ years of experience in large-scale ERP environment (ex. PeopleSoft)

  • 2+ years with intermediate level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with process improvement methodologies

  • Experience in large scale ERP environment (ex. PeopleSoft or Oracle)

  • Experience in waterfall, agile, or hybrid environments

  • Experience working in a global organization

  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
