Business Analyst – Product & Customer Documentation, Blattner Technologies

We’re seeking a Business Analyst to support user story creation, epic writing, and product documentation that connects technical teams with customer needs.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers to create clear and actionable user stories, epics, and documentation. This role is critical to ensuring that both product features and custom solutions for customers are well-documented and aligned with business goals. You will use GitLab, Notion, and OpenAPI standards to streamline workflows and deliver high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Write user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product and engineering teams for Superwise and Supervvisor.
  2. Gather requirements from customers and stakeholders to translate them into actionable technical documentation.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and release notes.
  4. Create customer-facing documentation, ensuring clarity and usability for diverse audiences.
  5. Use Notion to manage documentation workflows and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  6. Support agile workflows, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospective documentation.
  7. Create and update API documentation using OpenAPI standards for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  8. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure features meet business requirements before release.

Required Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or a related role in SaaS or enterprise software.
  2. Strong experience writing user stories, epics, and technical documentation.
  3. Proficiency in tools like GitLab, Notion, and collaboration platforms.
  4. Familiarity with OpenAPI standards, including Swagger and Postman.
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on clarity and detail.
  6. Analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly understand complex workflows and propose solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Familiarity with AI-powered platforms or agent-based solutions.
  2. Knowledge of UX principles and creating user-friendly documentation.
  3. Background in customer requirements gathering and stakeholder management.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation Range: $80,000-$120,000
