Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Logistics/Operations professional to join our team in a hybrid role. You will collaborate across Merchandising, Logistics and Master Data to streamline assortment and space management, and support cross-functional process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years in supply chain or operations, with strong communication, problem solving and project management skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; associate’s degree accepted.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1–4 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience.
• 4+ years of both Operational and Supply Chain experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Project management and business acumen are valued across all levels of Supply Chain, Merchandising and Sales Operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional teams to identify process improvements.
• Track execution of implemented efficiencies and process improvements.
• Identify gaps between Logistics, Merchandising and Master Data and propose solutions.

This role reports to the Director of Assortment and Space Management. Supports development and implementation of streamlined processes to create cross functional efficiencies across Merchandising, Space Management, Planning and Allocation, Master Data and Club. Aids in follow up ensuring that Assortment and Space Management process improvements are executed by all parties involved. The role is responsible for helping to identify process gaps between Logistics, Merchandising and Master Data and recommend solutions for those gaps with well-defined systems and processes. Strong Partnerships with Logistics, Operations and Merchandising Leadership is required as well as robust system and business knowledge.

Responsible for development of end to end processes supporting assortment and space management. Analyze existing process and assortments and highlight areas for improvement. Collect, analyze and simplify requirements. Create functional specifications and flowcharts.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Work with cross functional teams analyzing existing systems and process and highlights areas for improvement.
• Follows up on execution of implemented efficiencies and process improvements.
• Responsible for helping to identify process gaps between Logistics, Merchandising and Master Data and recommend solutions for those gaps with well-defined systems and processes.
• Facilitate and drive change, prepare functional user manuals and facilitate training.
• Analytics support to identify opportunities for Space Optimization as well as measurement of performance metrics. Leverage AMIA and IRI data in space analytics.

Job Conditions

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00
