This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity for a highly collaborative, inquisitive professional who excels at asking the right questions, uncovering business needs, validating information, and helping teams identify practical solutions to operational challenges. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in business analysis, project management office (PMO) environments, requirements elicitation, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping. This individual will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, project managers, and product owners to understand current processes, identify gaps, and support meaningful business improvements. Key Responsibilities
Business Discovery & Requirements Elicitation

  • Apply structured discovery and elicitation techniques to gather accurate, comprehensive information from SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Validate findings and requirements through follow-up discussions, documentation reviews, and stakeholder collaboration rather than relying on assumptions.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, and unanswered questions that require further investigation.
  • Document business requirements, workflows, and project needs clearly and accurately.
Process Analysis & Improvement
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support the development of practical process improvements and recommendations based on validated business needs.
  • Understand how proposed changes may impact departments, stakeholders, and downstream business operations.
  • Utilize service blueprinting or customer journey mapping techniques when applicable.
PMO & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Support PMO initiatives by providing business analysis, requirements documentation, and process improvement expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, product owners, SMEs, and business leaders to clarify requirements and support project objectives.
  • Facilitate discussions that help stakeholders work through challenges, evaluate options, and reach alignment on business needs.
  • Partner with product owners and appropriate stakeholders who are responsible for solution decisions and ownership.
  • Support projects operating within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Communicate findings, project dependencies, risks, and open questions to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized documentation and share progress, discoveries, and challenges proactively.
AI-Assisted Documentation & Analysis
  • Utilize AI tools to help organize, summarize, and synthesize stakeholder interview transcripts, meeting notes, and discovery findings.
  • Transform complex discussions into structured documentation, key themes, business requirements, and actionable follow-up items.
  • Review and validate AI-generated summaries for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with stakeholder input.
  • Use AI as a productivity tool to improve documentation efficiency while maintaining sound business judgment and appropriate information-handling practices.
