Job summary

A leading healthcare analytics firm is seeking a Business Data Analyst to shape major BI transformations focused on PBM Rebates. You will work in a collaborative, Agile environment, translating business needs into technical requirements while advocating best practices in data visualization. The role requires extensive experience in data analysis, PBM, and Business Intelligence tools. This position is a remote opportunity based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Analysis.
• 5+ years of PBM experience.

• Experience with MicroStrategy or similar enterprise BI tools.

Overview

About the Role: From the day you join, you will hit the ground running surrounded by amazing people! As a Business Data Analyst, you will have an opportunity to shape a major BI transformation focused on PBM Rebates. You will join a world-class organization at the forefront of healthcare analytics working with cloud-based BI technologies and a state-of-the-art platform. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment driving quick, sustainable change contributing to a core product vertical supporting key healthcare client and support a strategic BI/reporting transformation initiative focused on documenting requirements, inventorying assets, providing domain expertise, and supporting migration to a next-gen BI platform within a high-impact, agile environment.

You will report to the Delivery Manager in a remote position based in the United States. You will demonstrate your experience with PBM and rebates data structures and business processes to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in a proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced change environment delivering within Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Document and translate business needs into technical requirements for BI/reporting tools
• Collect and organize an inventory of existing reporting assets
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of goals and deliverables
• Design and execute UAT testing plans in collaboration with QA and development teams
• Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training sessions
• Advocate for best practices in data visualization and storytelling

Deliverables

1. Assist the Rebates Product Lead in the design, documentation, and development of BI/Reporting solutions
2. Document business and technical requirements (user stories, BRDs) for BI/reporting in the PBM rebates domain
3. Provide subject-matter expertise in PBM Rebates to guide reporting assets and solutions
4. Support the migration of legacy BI tools to a new centralized BI platform
5. Assist in testing, training, and change management activities to ensure a successful transformation
