Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst with Oracle PPM and Oracle Accounting Hub expertise for a 12+ month contract in Houston, onsite. The role focuses on documenting requirements, creating BRD and specification documents, and aligning business needs with technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle ERP experience, PPM knowledge, and accounting hub proficiency, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to support end-to-end ERP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Oracle ERP environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
• Functional expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub / Subledger Accounting.
• Strong experience preparing BRD, Functional, and Technical Specification documents.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and business stakeholders to understand and document requirements
• Convert customer requirements into BRD, Functional Specifications, and Technical Design Documents
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure correct interpretation of requirements
• Support solution design discussions, clarifications, and scope management
• Act as a liaison between business users, functional consultants, and development teams
• Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating solutions, and managing defects
• Maintain requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle

Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst - Oracle PPM & Accounting Hub. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Houston, TX (Onsite).

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and business stakeholders to understand and document requirements
• Convert customer requirements into BRD, Functional Specifications, and Technical Design Documents

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Oracle ERP environments

• Strong experience in preparing BRD, Functional, and Technical Specification documents
• Good understanding of finance, accounting, and project costing processes
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud
• End-to-end ERP implementation or upgrade experience
• Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models
