Job summary

SGS Consulting in California is seeking a Procurement Analyst to transform MRP/MPS data into actionable purchasing plans. You will manage external suppliers, drive on-time delivery, and oversee supplier performance while creating Power BI dashboards to monitor procurement metrics.

In this full-time, on-site role, you will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance to ensure material readiness and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in supply chain-related field.
• Experience with procurement analytics and ERP systems.
• Ability to build dashboards and translate data into insights.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
• Expedite purchase orders and resolve delivery and supply chain issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify delivery risks.
• Track on-time delivery, inventory levels, and other SCM metrics.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for procurement performance.
• Analyze procurement data using Power BI and Excel.
• Monitor inventory to identify shortages and excesses.
• Develop corrective actions for shortages and supplier issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance for material readiness.
• Support material planning for production and NPI initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, and inventory data.
• Use ERP systems to manage purchasing and material requirements.
• Analyze trends and translate data into actionable insights.
• Support continuous improvement across procurement processes.
• Explore tools to improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve procurement challenges.
• Operate in regulated manufacturing with quality/compliance focus.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials
• Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and supply issues
• Expedite purchase orders and resolve supplier delivery and supply chain issues
• Monitor supplier performance and identify potential delivery risks
• Track on-time delivery, supplier reliability, inventory levels, and other supply chain metrics
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for procurement and supply chain performance
