Job summary

SGS Consulting in California City is seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to translate MRP/MPP requirements into purchase orders, manage supplier performance, and drive procurement analytics.

You will build Power BI dashboards, analyze data in Excel, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D and Finance to ensure material readiness and on-time delivery in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
• Experience in procurement and supply chain analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials
• Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and supply issues
• Expedite purchase orders and resolve supplier delivery and supply chain issues
• Monitor supplier performance and identify potential delivery risks
• Track on-time delivery, supplier reliability, inventory levels, and other supply chain metrics
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for procurement and supply chain performance
• Analyze supply chain data using Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Monitor inventory levels to identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and material risks
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address material shortages and supplier issues
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance teams to ensure material readiness
• Support material planning activities for production and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives
• Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, inventory, and material planning data
• Use ERP systems to manage purchasing and material requirements
• Analyze procurement and supply chain trends and translate data into actionable insights
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes
• Explore and adopt software tools that improve supply chain visibility and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material and procurement challenges
• Support operations in a regulated manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and compliance requirements
• Perform additional procurement, material planning, analytics, and supplier management activities as assigned
