The ideal candidate will lead initiatives, formulate systems, and will have expertise in geo spatial analysis with proficiency in Python or R. The role offers the opportunity to contribute strategically and work with large datasets, along with a flexible independent work schedule of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related area.
• GEO spatial expertise (5+ years).
• Advanced Excel skills (5+ years).
• Experience working with large databases (2+ years).
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Strong background in data analytics and statistics.

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs in alignment with overall business strategies. This role is critical in formulating systems, documenting user requirements, and outlining program functions to support new strategic initiatives for the Strategic Initiatives Team. The ideal candidate has expertise in GEO spatial analysis, advanced Excel, large database management, and data analytics, with proven experience applying statistical methods and programming tools such as Python or R.
