Job summary

Axos Bank offers a 12-week Summer Internship Program in San Diego. The Business Analyst Intern will support multiple business units by assisting with client onboarding, performing administrative tasks, and contributing to strategic planning and reporting.

Interns participate in a capstone project, leadership sessions, financial literacy training, and trainings from Corporate Finance Institute, plus a volunteer day. Two sessions are available: May 25–Aug 13 and Jun 14–Sep 3.

Qualifications

• Bachelors entry-level role; some experience in a financial institution is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding new client accounts, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
• Support day-to-day business operations including updating internal systems, tracking project progress, and maintaining records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around business goals and process improvements.
• Help prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment.

Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day.

Interns choose between one of two sessions.

Session 1: May 25 - August 13

Session 2: June 14 - September 3
