Job summary

WAHVE is seeking seasoned insurance professionals to work from home in a long-term Operations Business Analyst role. You’ll leverage your insurance expertise to support carriers and MGAs across multi-state accounts while enjoying a flexible full- or part-time schedule.

Join a virtual team, maintain real-world insurance knowledge, and help improve data submissions, reporting, and service standards from your home office in the United States.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience
• 10 recent years of insurance industry experience

Responsibilities

• Liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, IT and other operations areas.
• Translate customer requirements into clear functional requirements for technical teams.
• Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts through policy lifecycle including rating, pricing, quoting and issuing policies.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow varied workflows by line of business, state and rules.
• Serve as SME on data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

We have assignments available to help our insurance carrier or MGA clients in Operations Business Analyst positions. Responsibilities may include:

• Liaise with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology, etc.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
• Become proficient in managing multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle which could include rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies as well as handling related account activity.
• Participate and understand the development of operational KPI’s and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding how to prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.
