BUSINESS ANALYST III

Company Name: FedEx Supply Chain, Inc.

Job Title: Analyst, Business III

Location: 50 Pennwood Place, Warrendale, PA 15086

Job Duties:
  1. Provide support and implement business-critical production environments using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and interface systems for high-volume transactions.
  2. Configure Manhattan WMOS WMS systems manually.
  3. Participate in all phases of application implementation and support in multi-technology, business-critical systems.
  4. Gather requirements and design efficient solutions.
  5. Analyze and re-engineer processes to reduce risks.
  6. Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding of solutions, minimizing rework.
  7. Maintain understanding of interface specifications and configuration options.
  8. Document requirements and solutions following the SDLC process.
  9. Work with project teams to transition new projects into daily operations.
  10. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including co-workers, clients, vendors, and external partners.
  11. Stay updated on current and emerging warehouse technologies and trends.
  12. Follow change control methodologies and support continuous improvement strategies.
  13. Travel as required for project needs.
  14. Adhere to company vision, mission, and values, maintaining high ethical standards.
  15. Provide 24/7 support as needed, including on-call rotations.
  16. Train team members as necessary.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience supporting Manhattan WMOS WMS systems. Equivalent combinations are also acceptable.

Experience with coding, testing SDLC, IBM Cognos Analytics, scripting languages (Cron, Korn Shell, Python), databases (Oracle SQL, DB2, AS400), interface technologies (SFTP, API, AS2, JMS), WMS (e.g., WMOS 2014), and enterprise hardware platforms (UNIX/Linux, Windows Server) is required.

The position is telecommutable from any U.S. location.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Read, write, interpret information, and perform basic math.
  • Use hands for handling objects.
  • Sit, walk, or stand for the duration of shifts.
  • Visual acuity for job functions.
  • Conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $73,235 - $138,959 annually, based on experience and location.
