Job summary

STI Federal, a key contractor supporting NIWC Atlantic’s CIO Software Services IPT, seeks a Business Analyst II to join our QA and testing team. You will support end-to-end testing—manual, automated, regression, and performance—while driving requirements, user story development, backlog management, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable tech solutions.

In this role you will translate operational needs into technical specs, ensure system reliability, and support Agile SDLC activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, CS, IS, or related field.
• Experience in software testing (manual and/or automated) and/or business analysis in an Agile environment.
• Experience developing test scripts and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality manual testing execution and documentation with clear results.
• Build and maintain automated testing solutions and reports.
• Conduct manual and automated regression testing and report findings to stakeholders.
• Use government-provided version control systems to store and manage QA scripts and docs.
• Perform performance testing and analyze results for IPT systems.
• Maintain clear communications and operational monitoring.
• Provide daily updates on framework loads and resolve data gathering issues.
• Support Agile SDLC activities, document workflows, create user stories, manage backlogs, and assist in UAT and sprint coordination.
