The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with others, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to expand their business analysis and insurance knowledge in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties

  • Contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning by creating well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, requirement updates, and documenting open questions using ADO, JIRA, or similar tools.
  • Partner with Development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered.
  • Perform data analysis and structured root cause analysis to identify operational inefficiencies, workflow improvements, recurring issues, and process optimization opportunities.
  • Create clear documentation, business process workflows, and analysis deliverables that effectively communicate with both technical and business audiences.
  • Participate in solution walkthroughs and validation sessions to ensure proposed solutions align with documented requirements, business processes, and insurance operations.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by helping develop test scenarios, validating outcomes, documenting defects, and tracking issues through resolution alongside QA, Development, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management activities by documenting requirement updates, performing impact analysis, and communicating changes in partnership with Senior and Lead Business Analysts.
  • Participate in client meetings, requirements workshops, and project planning sessions while accurately capturing decisions, assumptions, risks, action items, and open questions.
  • Provide effort estimates for assigned analysis work, proactively communicate blockers, identify requirement gaps, raise scope concerns, and highlight project timeline risks.
