The Business Analyst II will provide direct end-user customer support for all assigned applications issues. Additionally, the BA II is responsible for managing and providing oversight of customer support issues to ensure timely resolution, high customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement. Participation in requirements gathering processes and system testing is expected. Additionally, the BA II will be required to support the Senior Technology Business Analyst as needed. This position is critical in supporting the Case Management Systems for the Judicial Branch. Another key area of responsibility includes Technology Training. In coordination with the Senior Technology Business Analyst, this role will include the design and development of training plans and materials, the delivery of training sessions and presentations, and administrative and logistical support. The incumbent is supervised by the Senior Technology Business Analyst and works closely with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) staff and Court Operations. Statewide travel and non-standard work hours may be required.
Salary Range: Starting pay is $37.38 - $39.24 per hour. Plus 5% Retention Stipend Grade 17 - $37.38 - $50.06 per hour.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand MJB applications and business practices and policies. Demonstrated customer service experience with proven track record of customer satisfaction. Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve identified application issues. Ability to prioritize and align work in order to meet the business needs of the MJB. Ability to communicate with oral and written instructions in the use of automated systems to system users. Ability to prepare and present detailed information to large groups of people. Ability to organize work, training programs, and materials. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to work independently and/or work in a project team. Ability to work constructively with computer technical personnel. Ability to function effectively in a stressful environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Associate’s degree from an accredited university. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with business analysis and technical support is required. Experience in developing and delivering training programs, and application support is preferred. Substantial expertise in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, e‑mail, and other office automation tools. Knowledge and experience with court manuals, court rules, and forms. Knowledge and experience in the operation and procedures used within the courts and in implementing changes to them. Knowledge and experience in developing and delivering training programs, technical in nature, to individuals and groups. Knowledge and experience with court case management and financial systems is preferred. Knowledge and experience in Court Operations is preferred.
