SUMMARY

This position will assist with project coordination, process improvement, and help maintain, identify, and implement next level metrics for Treasury Management Operations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Works to understand business requirements, develop innovative solutions, maintain thorough documentation of newly designed processes, and obtain business sign offs.
  • Responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting in support of business processes and data-driven decision making.
  • Create business assessments including current processes, data analysis and evaluation of potential solutions including associated risks to aid decision making.
  • Identify additional opportunities through active listening and engagement with the business. Provide regular updates and surface opportunities as identified.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement; define and document processes and procedures as appropriate. Collaborate with team members and management to prioritize opportunities.
  • Build workflows to record and track department task completion.
  • Organizes and maintains department communications within the appropriate channels (SharePoint, Canva, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Support Treasury Management Operations systems and act as a liaison between IT, Internal Partners, and system providers to troubleshoot issues or implement enhancements.
  • Manage low to moderate complexity Treasury Management projects.
  • Work with Deposit and TM Operations Managers, Analysts, and Admins to develop and maintain Business Continuity Plan, Policies, Procedures and Training manuals.
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs duties as requested by Manager.
  • Complete all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures
  • Dresses professionally

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-5 years' banking experience required.
  • Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures required.

TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Query; knowledge of DAX.
  • Experience with Smartsheets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong initiative in the development and timely completion of projects and deadlines
  • Exhibits sound and ethical judgment.
  • Exceptional time management skills to effectively multi-task.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
