Job summary

DR Horton, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst I-SharePoint to support corporate SharePoint implementation across the corporate, region, division, and field environments.

You will analyze complex processes, gather requirements, and help design and implement SharePoint solutions that meet business needs. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work with stakeholders, and willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two to four years of related experience.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and in a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven professional experience in a business environment.
  • Ability to work in office and field environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries for all DR Horton business units.
  • Perform SharePoint upgrades and site migrations.
  • Create and update forms and workflows using SparkNit forms tool.
  • Investigate, analyze, and document complex business processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to define and implement SharePoint solutions.
  • Manage permissions and provide end-user support for SharePoint.
  • Document training and system requirements; support corporate IT initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly with team leadership on complex matters.

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Business Analyst I-SharePoint. The right candidate will support the corporate implementation of SharePoint with minimal supervision while working in the corporate, region, division, and field environments. Analyze and troubleshoot complex, multi-tier application environments. Work with business stakeholders to gather, develop, validate, and recommend the business, technical and functional requirements for SharePoint applications and other DR Horton enterprise systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries for all DR Horton business units
  • Perform SharePoint upgrades and site migration
  • Ability to create and update forms built in the SparkNit forms tool
  • Ability to create and update workflows built in the SparkNit forms tool
  • Investigate, analyze, and document complex business processes
  • Partner with business units to assess and understand the business need for the development and implementation of new and existing SharePoint Solutions
  • Perform SharePoint administration to include managing permissions – restrict and revoke access
  • Provide end-user support for SharePoint
  • Implement systems and solutions that best meet business requirements within the framework of Corporate IT systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex business and application processes and systems
  • Develop optimized solutions to complex business and application issues
  • Develop documentation related to training, implementation, business process, system requirements, and enhancements
  • Deliver articulate and precise communication in written or verbal form
  • Analyze and document complex business requirements, processes, product use cases, enhancements, and issues
  • Discuss and seek approval on complex matters and communication with team leadership
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends
  • Ability to travel
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two to four years of related experience
  • Ability to effectively work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving critical thinking skills
  • Proven track record in a professional business environment
  • Ability to work in office and field environments
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn and apply applications for business functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and SharePoint systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems preferred
