Global Business Ser. 4u seeks a Business Analyst III for a Houston-based hybrid role (2-3 days in office). The contract position focuses on data-driven insights, reporting, and BI enhancements. The role requires proficiency in AWS data tools, Python, R, and related analytics methods, with a focus on driving business performance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or related field.
• Experience with Excel, R, Python, Matlab, SAS or similar. Experience with statistical or other data mining methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Disseminate information regarding tools, reports, or metadata enhancements.
• Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure intelligence aligns with defined needs.
• Identify or monitor current and potential customers using business intelligence tools.
• Synthesize BI/data trends to support recommendations for action.
• Maintain or update BI tools, dashboards, databases, or reporting systems.
• Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
• Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications.
• Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
• Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
• Create or review technical design documentation for reporting solutions.
• Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, or others to stay abreast of industry trends.
• Document specifications for BI or IT reports and dashboards.
• Create BI tools or systems, including databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
• Collect BI data from industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
• Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales.
• Analyze competitive market strategies through related product/market/share trends.
• Generate standard or custom reports for executives and stakeholders.

• Drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance.
• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
• Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives.
• Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance.
