Elevance Health is seeking a Graduate Intern in Business Analytics to support the Digital Platforms and AI Organization (DPAIO). The role offers mentorship, exposure to healthcare tech, and hands-on projects across digital strategy and analytics in a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

Position Title: Business Analyst Graduate Intern - Summer 2027

Job Description

This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Locations: Chicago, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Mason and Richmond.

The Graduate Business Analyst Intern will be responsible for supporting the company's Digital Platforms and AI Organization(DPAIO). During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

How you will make an impact

• Responsible for developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategy.
• Responsible for gathering and assessing market requirements through competitive intelligence and emerging trends, stakeholder and consumer feedback
• Contribute to Strategy and Business Development Efforts
• Develop and Deliver Presentations to Key Stakeholders
• Responsible for developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategic frameworks.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 17th-August 6th) .
• Enrolled in an accredited graduate academic program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field of study.
• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
• For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.

Preferred Skills & Requirements

Students will be assigned to a specific group within DPAIO based on skill set and need of the business. Students should have experience and education in:

• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Advanced Communication skills, both written and oral.
• Advanced skills in, data analysis, stakeholder management, business process management, CQL, Informatics skills

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $25.61 to $47.57
