Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst within fund accounting environments.

Seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations within the Fund Accounting organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience working with financial systems, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams while supporting complex projects from inception through implementation.

Core Qualifications

• Business Analyst experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading business requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops
• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams

Fund Accounting & Financial Services Experience

• Experience within Fund Accounting environments (required)
• Private Equity experience (preferred)
• Understanding of investment operations, accounting workflows, and financial reporting processes
• Experience working with financial applications and transactional finance systems

Technical & Project Delivery Experience

• Experience working in Agile environments, ideally Scrum
• Proven ability to support large, complex projects from requirements gathering through implementation
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
• Ability to assist with testing, validation, and production support activities

Operational & Business Support Responsibilities

• Willingness to balance both:
• Business-as-Usual (BAU) support - must be comfortable doing triage work, support work to start
• Once trained up will move into project-based initiatives
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of supported applications through hands-on operational support
• Comfortable troubleshooting issues, working with users, and supporting ongoing enhancements
