The business is spread across EMEA, US, Japan, AEJ, and emerging Markets like India, Brazil, and China. It deals in a wide range of products including FX, Rates, Credit, Securitised Products, Equities, Futures & Options, FI/EQ Derivatives, and Prime Services including financing.
Role Summary: Lead the development and delivery of agile trading technology solutions for Prime and Equities desks. Responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while managing a small development team and maintaining direct stakeholder relationships with trading desks.
This role sits within the Equities Technology Team, part of Global Markets Technology, supporting the Equities Risk platform—currently undergoing significant modernisation and enhancement program. The team builds and maintains software solutions for Equities Global Markets Front and Middle Office businesses. With developers located across major financial centres (US, UK, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and India) and Business Analysts distributed globally.
This is primarily a Business Analyst role with some project management responsibilities. The successful candidate will lead the analysis, definition, and documentation of business requirements for strategic Equities Risk initiatives, while also providing project oversight and reporting to support programme delivery.
