Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Domain Lead to drive the implementation of large-scale healthcare systems in one or more core functional areas: Member, Provider, Claims/Utilization Management (UM), or Portal. This role combines deep domain expertise in Medicaid and MMIS with hands-on leadership in process design, requirement validation, and integrated solution planning. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and policy-aligned solutions in a complex technical environment.

Your role in our mission

As a Domain Lead, you’ll serve as the cornerstone of your domain's success, ensuring that design and delivery remain aligned with client expectations, technical capabilities, and SDLC best practices. You’ll translate complex business needs into actionable requirements while engaging closely with both client stakeholders and internal teams.

Business Process Modeling & Requirements Ownership

  • Validate business processes to ensure compliance with Medicaid policy and client objectives.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and design documents.

Cross-Functional Solution Integration

  • Collaborate with technical teams to define domain-relevant reports, letters, data conversions, and interfaces.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and final implementation.

Project Management & Execution

  • Drive planning and execution activities across the SDLC lifecycle.
  • Manage domain-specific risks, dependencies, and milestones in collaboration with project teams.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your domain.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of client-facing documentation and walkthroughs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Promote consistency in documentation, process modeling, and design practices

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years in healthcare systems, including 4+ years on MMIS or Medicaid projects.
  • Strong background in at least one domain area: Member, Provider, Claims/UM, or Portal.
  • Proven success in large-scale IT system implementations using SDLC.
  • Effective communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional workstreams.
