Descripción del empleo

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq ARWR) is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing.

Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates.

Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI & San Diego, CA, and a state of the art manufacturing facility in Verona, WI. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.

The Position

We are seeking a Business and Data Analyst, Corporate Functions, to join our Enterprise Systems team, with primary accountability for the administration, optimization, and governance of the enterprise platforms that support our Legal and People Services & Culture partners. This role serves as the functional administrator of our Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and as the day-to-day systems partner to People Services & Culture, ensuring these platforms remain scalable, operationally efficient, and compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Beyond functional administration, this role plays a key part in working closely with Ex. Director of AI and Data Enterprise Management to support data integration across all business partners. Working with Legal, People Services & Culture, and other corporate and business functions, the analyst will identify priority data sources, define data models and reporting needs, and provide trusted, governed datasets and reporting that enable enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence (BI).

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience administering enterprise business applications (ideally a CLM platform), a strong command of data modeling, BI analytics, AI data tools, and demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and other data platforms to drive automation and actionable insight delivery.

This is an individual contributor (IC) role reporting into the Enterprise Systems team. The position requires close collaboration with business end‑users, internal Information Systems (IS) colleagues, and third‑party consulting partners to deliver sustainable, high‑impact solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

This role is based onsite 5 days a week from one of Arrowhead's office locations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional administrator for the Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including configuration of contract templates, workflows, approval rules, fields, reports, and integrations in support of Legal operations.
  • Provide day‑to‑day functional support to Legal and People Services & Culture stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuity of critical business operations.
  • Partner with Legal and People Services & Culture business partners to identify, evaluate, and deliver process automation and digital transformation initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives.
  • Play a key role in supporting data lake for business partners and supporting the integration with the enterprise data management platform. Identifying and prioritizing data sources, building ingestion and integration pipelines with IS and data engineering colleagues, and developing data models.
  • Establish and maintain data definitions, data quality checks, and data governance practices (including metadata, lineage, and access controls) so that enterprise data is trusted, secure, and consistently defined across functions.
  • Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Fabric or other similar technologies to develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions, and drive continuous process improvement for corporate functions.
  • Administer identity and access governance for supported platforms, including user role management, license assignment, and periodic access reviews in alignment with internal controls.
  • Administer change management activities for supported applications, including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and user communication.
  • Develop and maintain end‑user training materials and system documentation to support adoption of Agiloft, People Services & Culture platforms, and enterprise data and reporting tools.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Systems Sr. Manager on the intake, triage, and backlog management processes for Legal and People Services & Culture system and data requests, ensuring prioritization in alignment with business objectives.
  • Actively contribute on project delivery using Agile methodologies, driving stakeholder engagement, sprint execution, and on‑time delivery of system and data enhancements.
  • Monitor the evolving landscape of emerging technologies and applied AI capabilities relevant to contract management, people services, and enterprise data, providing recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred

  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security practices for sensitive Legal and HR data, including role‑based access controls.
  • Understanding of governance frameworks for GxP and SOX computerized systems in highly‑regulated life sciences environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, deliver in a fast‑paced environment, and operate effectively within cross‑functional, collaborative teams.
