Job summary

DSA, Inc is seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to define requirements, prioritize product backlogs, develop user stories, and ensure solutions meet business needs. This role serves as the primary bridge between business users and technical teams, supporting planning, risk management, sprint execution, and continuous improvement while promoting Agile and cybersecurity best practices.

DSA - Salary Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintaining traceability, supporting UAT, and facilitating stakeholder decisions.
• Experience leading Agile processes for Scrum Teams and continuous improvement.
• Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with key functional stakeholders to produce the product vision and roadmap.
• Translates business needs into product requirements for the development team.
• Maintains a prioritized backlog with the Product Owner for sprint planning.
• Participates in daily development activities to clarify business needs.
• Sets goals and communicates project vision at each release and sprint start.
• Prioritizes the backlog by business value or ROI.
• Participates in backlog grooming and user story pointing.
• Identifies, communicates and manages dependency relationships and risks.
• Participates in planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives.
• Promotes Agile values and continuous cybersecurity risk management.

Required Skills

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Three (3) additional years of applicable experience, with appropriate certifications or relevant experience, may be substituted for the degree requirement, for a total of seven (7) years of experience.
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining traceability, supporting UAT, and facilitating stakeholder decisions
• Experience leading Agile processes for one or more Scrum Teams and continuous improvements of development processes, product quality and quantity of work delivered.
• Holds and maintains Scrum Master certification or similar
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications
