Washington's Lottery is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, collaborating with IT teams and vendors to strengthen mission-critical systems. You will translate opinions into clear requirements and support testing and validation efforts.

Ideal candidates will have strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communications skills, with experience in complex IT environments and a track record of delivering tangible improvements.

Qualificações

• Gather, confirm, and document business and technical requirements by meeting with customers and documenting use cases, flows, and stories.
• Explain technical information in simple terms to developers, testers, and business users.
• Review complex business processes and IT systems to map current and future states.
• Review IT requests to ensure clarity, prioritization, and proper categorization with stakeholders.
• Use proven business analysis methods to manage requirements in complex IT environments.
• Create test cases, support usability testing, and demonstrate prototypes to gather feedback.

Responsabilidades

• Elicits business requirements from cross functional subject matter experts for Lottery system modifications.
• Independently analyzes and develops functional and non-functional specifications for multi-functional mission critical systems.
• Translates business requirements and functional specifications into technical requirements.
• Conducts in-depth analysis of specifications to ensure alignment with business needs and identifies gaps or viable solutions.
• Advises vendors and subject matter experts of conflicts with systems and proposes viable solutions.
• Uses business analysis techniques to manage requirements and assess work progress.
