FastTek Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Agency Services Application Development and Support team for multiple Michigan state applications, with a focus on MiLEAP. You will drive requirements, oversee the SDLC, and lead meetings with business partners and the technical team.

You will manage change management tasks, backlogs, and sprints in Azure DevOps, while ensuring quality documentation and effective communication across stakeholders in a fast-paced governance

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with the Agency Services Application Development and Support team who supports multiple applications for Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Lifelong Education Advancement and Potential (MiLEAP). This role would consist of supporting maintenance activities for applications as well as multiple larger projects with a main focus on MiLEAP. We are looking for someone who understands and has experience with the software development lifecycle as they will be managing work requests to support operational support needs for web applications and gather requirements for project initiatives. This role is the liaison between the technical team and the business partners. This is a senior position, the selected candidate must possess strong leadership skills including delegation, effective communication, effective requirement gathering, and the ability to lead meetings with stakeholders and other technical resources.

Tasks

Required Skills

• Exposure to Complex IT web Applications, within the past 5 years - Required - 5+ Years
• Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project - Required - 3+ Years
• Experience in a role, as a business analyst, supporting a software development project, in the past 5 years - Required - 3+ Years
• Ability to lead meetings, conduct training & information sessions, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentations - Required - 3+ Years
• Experience with Azure DevOps - Required - 1+ Years

Highly Desired Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle - Highly Desired - 2+ Years
