Job summary

DBHDS is seeking a Sr Business Analyst with a technical background to support software development IT projects, including modernizing the Incident Management System. The role expects expertise across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies, strong requirements elicitation, and stakeholder collaboration.

The selected candidate will develop process models, write user stories, and coordinate acceptance testing with business users and project teams, ultimately ensuring solutions meet business

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading SaaS/cloud hosted implementations.
• 5+ years experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methods.
• 5+ years MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) proficiency.
• 4+ years experience with automated requirements management tools.
• 3+ years healthcare project experience.
• 2+ years AWS Cloud Practitioner knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks related to business analysis, including problem/opportunity identification, elicitation of requirements, and management of stakeholders to meet business and project objectives.
• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
• Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and the development team.
• Work with other BSAs, Data Analysts, Business Architect, Development, and Data Governance teams to ensure the needs of these partners are incorporated into project requirements.
• Develop user acceptance tests and facilitate their execution and business validation discussions and meetings.

• This project will replace/modernize core functionality of the DBHDS Incident Management System.
• We are seeking a Sr Business Analyst with a technical background to support software development IT Projects at DBHDS using a mix of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Methodologies.

Requirements

• 4 Years Strong experience in developing, executing, and managing cloud hosted SaaS implementation projects.
• 5 Years Knowledge of both Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management practices and when to apply each according to organizational and project needs
• 5 Years Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
• 4 Years Experience with automated requirements/development management tools
• 3 Years Technical background.
• 3 Years Experience in healthcare projects
• 2 Years AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• 4 Years Proficient in writing user stories
• 3 Years Knowledge of JIRA or Azure Dev Ops Tools
