Job summary

Axiom Bank is seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives and enterprise projects. You will gather requirements, map processes, and collaborate with business units, operations, technology, risk, and finance to drive change across the bank.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of analysis experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an interest in banking. You will assist with testing, governance, and change readiness while supporting multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in business analysis or project support.
• Banking or financial services experience and regulatory knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, operational, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare requirements, use cases, user stories, process maps, and business rules.
• Support testing: test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors.
• Assist with change readiness, training materials, and governance reporting.
• Maintain audit-ready project documentation.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst will support strategic initiatives and enterprise projects across the bank under the guidance of senior team members and project leadership This role will collaborate with business units operations technology risk finance compliance and external partners to gather and document requirements map current and future state processes assist with gap analysis support testing and implementation activities and contribute to organizational readiness for change The ideal candidate has foundational business analysis experience strong analytical and communication skills an interest in banking and financial services and the ability to learn quickly while supporting multiple workstreams

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Business and Functional Requirements Assist with stakeholder interviews discovery sessions and workshops to gather clarify and document business functional operational and reporting requirements for strategic initiatives and enterprise projectsBusiness Documentation Prepare and maintain clear requirements use cases user stories process maps business rules meeting notes and decision documentation using established templates and standardsTesting and Validation Assist with the development of business test scenarios test cases and acceptance criteria; support system integration testing user acceptance testing defect tracking and validation of workflows and controlsStakeholder and Vendor Coordination Coordinate follow ups among business stakeholders project leadership technology teams and third party vendors; track questions decisions issues and dependencies and elevate items requiring resolutionOperational Readiness and Change Support Assist with procedure updates training materials business readiness checklists communications and implementation support for impacted teamsGovernance and Reporting Maintain organized accurate and audit ready project documentation including requirements process maps action items risks assumptions issues and status updatesContinuous Improvement Support the identification and documentation of opportunities to streamline processes strengthen controls and improve the customer and employee experience across the bank

Working Conditions

Normal office environment; extensive use of computer; lifting up to 30lbs The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday; occasional evening and weekend work may be required

Qualifications Summary
