Job summary

EDF UK is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our PPA technology team. You will translate business needs into detailed requirements and tickets, bridging the gap between business and technology while working with offshore delivery teams.

The role supports moving processes from spreadsheets to strategic platforms and modernising reporting. You will collaborate with data, forecasting, trading and operations teams, shaping significant change across the organisation.

You’ll join us on a salary starting of at least £45,000 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a predominantly remote role, with flexibility to work from home alongside occasional travel to #Exeter, #Gloucester and #London. If your skills and experience exceed the requirements outlined, we'd still love to hear from you, as we have an opportunity for a more senior position. As one of the most experienced Business Analysts within the team, you'll help bridge the gap between business and technology, providing guidance to stakeholders and supporting teams through complex change. You'll work closely with offshore development teams, translating business needs into detailed requirements, user stories and tickets that enable successful delivery. You'll also support major initiatives including moving key processes currently managed through spreadsheets into strategic platforms, modernising reporting capabilities, and helping shape the migration of business-critical data into Snowflake. Your expertise will help teams understand not only what needs to change, but why it matters. • Working with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities and define solutions
• Creating detailed requirements, user stories and development tickets for offshore delivery teams

• We’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong relationships and helping teams navigate change.
• You’ll be comfortable working across both business and technical audiences, using your experience to challenge, influence and guide stakeholders.
• Proven Business Analyst experience within complex technology and business change environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and working closely with developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Knowledge of data, reporting and systems transformation projects, ideally involving large datasets and process improvement initiatives.
