Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for our client in the Mortgage industry. This Contract to Permanent position is located in Plano, TX. It is 90% remote with onsite required once every 2 months. Must live in the DFW area.
W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $45-$55 per hour; Anticipated conversion to FTE after 6 months.

Description:
- Evaluate and implement process improvements and business transformation initiatives related to mortgage servicing.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency within the servicing department.
- Analyze and re-engineer business processes related to mortgage servicing, supporting strategic initiatives.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements using various techniques.
- Provide SME support for business requirements, process design, and implementation.
- Help determine project timelines for mortgage servicing projects.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and external vendors to meet project objectives.
- Create and maintain project artifacts, including plans, logs, and documentation.
- Set and manage customer expectations, ensuring effective communication on timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate across departments to initiate and drive new projects.
- Track issues and formulate corrective actions to ensure consistent service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in SQL server and scripting.
- Experience in building business cases and assessing ROI for mortgage servicing projects.
- Ability to create work plans, flow charts, and process diagrams.
- Manage expectations and balance project options against constraints.
- Translate business objectives into solution designs or project plans.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with senior executives and teams.
- Model business processes related to mortgage servicing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in mortgage servicing.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Issue management and client relationship management skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for requirements articulation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or related field with relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing systems.
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing platforms such as MSP or similar.
- Experience with system integrations in financial platforms.
- Knowledge of loan servicing operations.
- Experience supporting mortgage servicing platforms and technologies.
