About the Role

As a Remote Business Analyst, you'll serve as the strategic bridge between stakeholders and the technology team, transforming data-driven insights into optimized processes, technology, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze current business processes, identify bottlenecks, and define opportunities for improvement.
2. Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, user stories, and functional specifications.
3. Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and data models using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
4. Support user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions align with documented requirements.
5. Coordinate projects end-to-end: timeline planning, status tracking, scope control, and post-implementation performance reviews.
6. Prepare clear documentation (requirements, process flows, test plans) and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical teams.
7. Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other stakeholders to implement effective business solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Experience: 1+ years in a Business Analyst or related role, preferably in remote or hybrid environments.
• Technical Skills:
• SQL proficiency for querying and data extraction.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Waterfall project experience.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication, facilitation, detail orientation, and stakeholder engagement.
