Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to help healthcare clients improve outcomes through technology and data-driven solutions. The role focuses on analyzing processes, translating requirements, and supporting project teams to deliver health and human services outcomes.

You will collaborate with clients and technologists, design change processes, and validate changes through tests while maintaining strong communication with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of Business Analyst experience translating technical goals into client action
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other software for quantitative analysis
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills for business leaders and clients
• Influencer and team player who motivates others and communicates technical ideas clearly

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, design, document and recommend improvements to client business processes
• Bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define and track requirements
• Create or analyze basic test scenarios to verify client requirements are built into system design
• Ensure change intent is carried out through all project phases via technical reviews and inspections

Your role in our mission

• Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technological aspirations
• Be a supportive bridge between clients, project managers and technical personnel to define, track and communicate business requirements and their expected impact by building basic conceptual data and process models
• Create, execute or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are built into system design
• Ensure that “intent of change” is carried out through every project phase by participating in technical reviews and inspections

What we're looking for

• Three or more years of Business Analystexperience translating technical goals and requirements into real action for clients
• Knowledge of basic computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other software for conducting quantitative analysis
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
• An influencer and team player who that motivates others to action and communicates key technical ideas in a digestible way

What you should expect in this role

• Candidate must live within commuting (1 hour driving) distance to our Roseville, CA office for this hybrid position
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is$59,500.00-$85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
