Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Renton, WA seeks an experienced Business Analyst with BEV domain knowledge to define requirements and collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will work with customers and internal teams, contribute to project estimations, and support AGILE processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Defines and proposes alternative solutions for changes and break fixes with customers.
• Provides input on solution and business requirement documents.
• Participates in project estimations.
• Supports process improvements and high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoots production issues and recommends solutions.
• Conducts change control, incident management, and audit tasks.
• Identifies and documents requirements with business analysts and customers.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Works with customers in defining and proposing alternative solutions for changes and break fixes.
• Provides input on solution and business requirement document.
• Participates in project estimations.
• Supports implementation of process improvements, best practices, and high-quality solutions
• Provides system support for production issues by troubleshooting and recommending solutions.
• Performs organizational tasks regarding change control, incident management and audit.
• Works with business analyst and customer to identify and document requirements that will be used to produce systems requirements documentation.
• Contributes to department process improvement activities.
• Help document and coordinate go-live activities.
• Participate in creating business process diagrams as necessary.
• Follow AGILE Processes
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience

• Lean Belt Certified preferred.
• Knowledge & Experience.
• Previous engineering or manufacturing experience desired.
• 3+ years related work experience in an business analyst position.
• Demonstrated experience in automotive engineering, especially in BEV (Battery EV).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate both in verbally and in writing within own team and business.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Server operating systems, and Office tools.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Keep attention to detail.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proven to be able to work well under pressure.
