Job summary

Autodesk seeks a Strategic Business Analyst to align requirements with program objectives and translate strategy into scalable capabilities. You will partner with product, engineering, and IT to translate business strategy into actionable capabilities and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of business analysis experience, CRM (Salesforce) and SAP/CPQ knowledge, and a proven record delivering transformation projects in complex environments. On-site onboarding may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of business analysis supporting requirements gathering, business process mapping and system implementations.
• Experience analyzing complex processes and driving execution of improvements.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
• Facilitate working sessions and drive outcomes.
• Proven records of deliverables in transformation projects (BRs, User Stories, UAT).
• Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), CPQ or SAP S/4.

Position Overview

You will contribute to Strategic Programs and Offerings by aligning business requirements with program objectives, driving business model and process changes, and supporting offering standardization. You will work across business partners, business architecture, product management, engineering, and IT teams to translate business strategy into scalable capabilities and successful outcomes.

This role requires someone who can operate independently, think beyond individual requirements, understand end-to-end and downstream impacts, and help shape solutions that address both immediate and longer-term business needs.

Responsibilities

• Requirements & capability definition: Refine business capabilities and translate them into detailed business requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria aligned with program objectives
• Problem definition & solution shaping: Advocate for the business need, challenge proposed solutions when they do not adequately address the underlying problem, and help teams reframe problems before significant investment is made
• Stakeholder alignment: Facilitate working sessions that bring stakeholders together around business objectives, requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes
• Product & engineering partnership: Serve as a trusted liaison between business partners, Product Managers, architects, and engineering teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements
• Solution validation: Work throughout design, development, and testing to confirm that delivered solutions meet documented business requirements and achieve intended business outcomes
• Navigate ambiguity: Independently drive complex initiatives forward despite changing priorities, evolving scope, and incomplete or changing requirements
• Ownership & autonomy: Operate with limited oversight while recognizing when broader alignment, escalation, or specialized expertise is required
• Future-focused thinking: Advocate for scalable capabilities that support longer-term strategic needs rather than narrowly solving individual use cases

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 Years of business analysis supporting requirements gathering, business process mapping and system implementations
• Experience analyzing complex processes and driving execution of improvements
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
• Facilitate working sessions and drive outcomes
• Proven records of deliverables in transformation projects (Business Requirements, User Stories, UAT documentation)
• Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), CPQ or SAP S/4

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $74,000 and $131,890. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
