Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst on a 06+ Months Contract in Plano, TX (onsite).

The role focuses on leading marketing procurement activities, RFx management, and retail campaign sourcing. The candidate will partner with marketing, risk, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliant, cost-efficient vendor engagements and effective onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years in marketing procurement for retail campaigns.

• Proficient in Excel and ERP (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with RFx, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFx events for marketing initiatives (creative, media, print, digital, retail activation).

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX(Onsite).

Pay Range: $40 - $42/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead competitive bidding and quote processes for marketing initiatives, focusing on retail campaigns, in-store marketing, shopper marketing, POS, and promotions.
• Develop and manage RFx events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) for creative, media, print, digital, and retail activation agencies and suppliers.
• Maintain local and global competitive bidding standards and policies tailored to retail marketing and store execution.
• Prepare compliance reports to ensure processes meet company policy and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to create a sourcing roadmap aligned with annual and seasonal plans.
• Execute retail-specific strategies for rate and term negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Verify that commercial terms align with negotiated pricing and scope, addressing discrepancies before execution.
• Validate new marketing and retail vendor requests, coordinating with risk, finance, and legal teams during onboarding.
• Identify gaps in marketing procurement workflows and recommend process and system enhancements for improved efficiency.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven expertise in marketing procurement with a focus on retail campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management.
• Knowledge of competitive bidding and RFx management.
• Familiarity with retail marketing and shopper marketing strategies.
• Background in contract negotiation and legal review.
• Understanding of vendor management and onboarding processes.
• Skills in process improvement and system optimization.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
