Job summary

SBT Global is seeking a experienced Business Analyst to serve as the primary on-call support for the Travel system. You will gather end-user IT/HR requirements, provide training, and maintain documentation while building strong relationships with users.

The role requires navigating HR/GA policies, resolving issues, and tailoring system usage to customer needs. You will also contribute to process improvements, create operation manuals, and report on performance and status of open items.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an IT or HR/GA focus.
• 4–7+ years of experience in IT support or GA/Accounting operations.
• Experience working in matrix organizations.

Job Description

• Serve as a Business Analyst and primary on-call support person for troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to the web-based Travel system. Identify and understand end users’ technical Travel system requirements, provide necessary training and documentation, build and maintain strong relationships with end users, and provide ongoing support.
• Take a broad view of the position and demonstrate initiative in communicating, interacting, and cooperating with engagement teams to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed.
• Understand various HR/GA policies and workflows related to various systems.
• Resolve issues as a Business Analyst by clarifying users’ needs, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Provide support and communicate with HQ regarding the implementation, management, and optimization of new and existing processes within the Travel system as needed to support customer requirements. Analyze customer requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
• Create and update solution documents, including operation manuals and training materials for Business Analysis.
• Proactively identify and formulate process improvements based on support issues, with the aim of minimizing recurring issues.
• Monitor and report the status of issues, proactively review and interpret performance against operating standards, and provide information and report results.

• Bilingual Korean required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an Information Technology or HR/GA focus.
• 4 - 7+ yearsof experience in IT support or GA/Accounting operations support.
• Experience working in matrix organizations.
