Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis across Program of Record to support decisions on success, risk and viability.
  • Gather requirements to document stakeholder needs for IT systems or projects.
  • Maintain project docs and generate reports to track progress.
  • Monitor program activities including implementation and forecasting to support Gov 2.0.
  • Manage project status, budgets and schedules.
  • Develop and format documents to support government contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with staff across disciplines to complete tasks.
  • Handle Change Request Management in Serena (OpenText/Micro Focus).

Job Description

Position Summary:Business Analyst located in Pensacola, FL. This position will be supporting Training and Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The primary focus is with Naval Education and Training Future Officer and Citizenship User System (NETFOCUS).

Job Description:

  • Leading analysis efforts across the Program of Record(s) to support decisions for success, risk, and overall viability.
  • Requirements gathering for identifying and documenting the specific needs and expectations of stakeholders for a new or existing IT system or project.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate regular reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Tracks and monitors new and ongoing program activities to include implementation and forecasting to support Gov 2.0 efforts.
  • Manages, develops, and tracking of project status, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develops, reviews, and/or format Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentations and other documents to support government contract deliverables.
  • Works with staff from different disciplines, including management, engineering, procurement, logistics, and production to complete tasks.
  • Change Request Management in the System of Record, currently Serena (OpenText/Micro Focus).

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or NCAE-C designated institution - or – Two (2) years of experience with a A+, Network+, CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, or SSCP – or – previous DoD/Military course completion of C-150-2012, C-150-2011, 531-25B10 (CP), A-202-2100 now A-150-1251, A-150-1200, A-150-1201, A-102-5900, A-531-0767, M09DSJ1, A-531-0021, A-150-1980, A-150-1202, A-150-1203, A-150-1250, A-113-0205, A-113-0175, A-113-0018, A-113-0382, A-113-0027, A-113-0383, A-113-0175, A-113-0202, A-113-0233, A-531-0150, A-531-0100, A-150-2300, A-661-0500, A-531-0022, A-102-5888, A-102-5599 (SNOOP), A-531-0045, A-113-0381, A-113-0381, A-113-0342, A-104-0083(P/L), A-121-0594 (P/L), A-104-0084, A-150-4219 (P/L), or A-150-9020 (P/L).
