Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative focused on transforming critical business applications and processes. This long-term opportunity offers the chance to work on high-impact projects involving cloud technologies, digital transformation, process improvement, and system modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will excel at bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while helping drive successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units and stakeholders to understand operational workflows, challenges, and improvement opportunities
- Gather, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements
- Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and business documentation
- Facilitate discussions to define future-state business processes and solution requirements
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and development work items
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, project managers, and technical teams
- Develop test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation
- Execute functional testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
- Document defects, track issue resolution, and validate completed fixes
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and understanding
- Assist with change management efforts, training materials, and end-user documentation
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders
- Support multiple initiatives within a complex enterprise technology environment
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong process improvement, workflow analysis, and business process mapping experience
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements documentation
- Background supporting software development, application modernization, or digital transformation projects
- Experience participating in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management platforms
- Strong testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing experience
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and enterprise systems implementations
- Ability to create clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
