You will work closely with cross-functional teams across purchasing, finance, warehouse operations, and logistics to document requirements, facilitate discovery, and keep projects on track. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who wants to deepen their experience in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for technology initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into well-structured Jira epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct gap analysis comparing current-state processes to desired future-state outcomes, identifying areas for improvement or clarification.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the project lead and development team.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed.
  • Perform light project management duties including tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholder communication, and flagging risks or blockers.
  • Provide stakeholder communication and status updates, keeping business owners informed throughout the project lifecycle without requiring their attendance at every development meeting.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes using clear, accessible language, including data mapping and field-level documentation where applicable.
  • Support change management efforts by documenting what is changing and helping communicate impacts to affected business users.
  • Assist the UAT team during testing cycles by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities — UAT execution is owned by the testing team.
Job Requirements:

Required

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable Jira stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project management frameworks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, and related tools).
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
Preferred
  • Experience in the carpet, rug, textile, or specialty apparel/garment industries.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Infor M3 or similar) or order management platforms.
