Job summary

XAXIS Solutions Inc. in New York seeks an experienced Fixed Income Post-Trade Consultant / Business Analyst with deep Broadridge Impact expertise to support UAT, production issues, and required enhancements.

You will work across Operations, Compliance and Technology, handling post-trade processing, settlement, P&L, and data analysis, with a focus on MBS/ABS/CLOs. This three-days-in-office role combines domain knowledge with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in Financial Services / Capital Markets; fixed income post-trade preferred.
• Hands-on Broadridge Impact experience.
• Experience supporting UAT, production issues and business users.
• Strong data analysis and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, CS, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support during testing and UAT, including test scenario development, execution support, defect analysis and resolution.
• Provide production and user support across Operations, Compliance and Technology teams.
• Analyze business issues and perform root-cause analysis using Broadridge Impact and underlying data.
• Translate business requirements and operational processes into Impact business flows, use cases and functional requirements.
• Support issue investigation through database queries, data analysis and transaction-level troubleshooting.
• Develop business use cases and test scenarios for new business requirements, system changes and small enhancements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, QA and business stakeholders to resolve functional and data-related issues.
• Support impact assessment of process/system changes across the clearing, settlement and custody lifecycle.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to P&L calculations, stock ledger, factor adjustments, rate adjustments, positions and settlement processing.
• Participate in requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, defect management and implementation activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation of business processes, system functionality and issue-resolution procedures.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Fixed Income Post-Trade Consultant / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Broadridge Impact and post-trade processing. The role will support project teams across UAT, production support, issue resolution, business analysis, and small enhancements, requiring a strong combination of functional knowledge and technical/data analysis capabilities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Fixed Income instruments and post-trade processes, including clearing, settlement, custody, P&L, stock ledger, factor/rate adjustments, and structured products such as MBS, ABS, CMBS and CLOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support to project teams during testing and UAT phases, including test scenario development, execution support, defect analysis and resolution.
• Provide production and user support across Operations, Compliance and Technology teams.

Required Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Fixed Income post-trade processing, including:
• Trade lifecycle and post-trade processing
• Clearing and settlement
• Custody operations
• P&L calculation
• Factor and rate adjustments
• Reconciliation and exception management
• Hands-on experience with Broadridge Fixed Income Processing / Impact.
• Strong understanding of Impact clearing, settlement and custody workflows.
• Experience with Fixed Income and structured products such as:
• Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
• Asset-Backed Securities (ABS)
• Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS)
• Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO)

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Good knowledge of SQL/database queries for data investigation and issue analysis.
• Ability to perform data analysis and trace transactions across different processing stages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and downstream business impact.
• Ability to map business requirements and operational processes to system/business flows.
• Experience in creating use cases, functional requirements, test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to work closely with technical teams for debugging, defect analysis and solution validation.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in Financial Services / Capital Markets, preferably in Fixed Income post-trade processing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Broadridge Impact is highly preferred.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Production Support Consultant or Post-Trade Consultant.
• Experience supporting UAT, production issues and business users.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Business, Operations, Technology and QA teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
