Job Summary – Business Analyst: Middle Office Allocation Platform Migration

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite),local only

• Support the migration of the Middle Office Allocation platform for a global financial institution in Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 3 days onsite).
• Gather and refine business requirements in collaboration with Technology, Operations, and Front Office teams.
• Analyze and document trade workflows for Equities, Fixed Income, Options, and Futures products.
• Identify gaps and help design solutions to bridge current and target state processes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including creation of test cases and defect triage.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
• Utilize expertise in FIX messaging to troubleshoot and support electronic trading and allocation workflows.
• Leverage knowledge of trade lifecycle, allocation processes, and Rates Middle Office trade flows.
• Prepare clear documentation to support migration and integration efforts.
• Requires 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets and hands-on exposure to Middle Office Allocation platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills required.
• Local NYC candidates only; long-term (3-year) contract.
