As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that streamline business operations. You will work closely with business leaders to ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technological solutions that streamline business operations. This position is full-time, 3 month contract with possible extensions, and remote.

What You’ll Do
  • Assess and document requirements for automation (including process mapping)
  • Develop design documentation
  • Work closely with an external development team, communicating requirements, and following up with business leads on development topics as needed
  • Engage with business leaders, educating, and coaching as necessary, to ensure proper engagement
  • Run automation projects lasting 2-4 months in duration, with varying levels of complexity
  • Partner/manage external teams as needed for project delivery
  • Organize meetings, workshops, testing sessions etc. to drive completion of a project
What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Analysis
  • Business knowledge: Accounting knowledge of processes such as A/P and A/R
  • Must be able to understand what the underlying technology is doing (Bot automations, AI etc.). Not program level, but how data flows through technology
  • Can take an issue, dig into what a user is experiencing and relate that to what the underlying technology is doing to focus efforts on resolution
  • Can take a request for improvement from a user, document the desired state, translate that into what we need the underlying technology needs to do to address it
  • Can learn the basic functions of key systems being used to support or provide solutions to the automation program (i.e. Miro, SharePoint, UiPath tools, etc.)
  • Experience in project management
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Teams
  • Working knowledge of automations (i.e., MS Power Automate)
  • Detail and goal oriented
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Technical writing experience
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Process oriented (experience with documenting process narratives )
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $75 – $85 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
