Job summary

Talentify in Houston seeks a data-savvy professional to build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for diverse stakeholders. You will integrate data from multiple sources using Fivetran and dbt, and transform data in Snowflake.

You will monitor automated runs, uphold data governance, and translate complex data into clear insights that drive business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Hands-on, working knowledge with SQL in a data analysis capacity.
• Experience with Tableau or a similar data visualization tool.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub.

• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with dbt or Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau that effectively communicate insights and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Utilize Fivetran and dbt to collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt data transformation pipelines in Snowflake.
• Monitor scheduled dbt, Tableau, and other application runs to ensure timely data availability throughout the Star Pipe environment.
• Follow and maintain data governance standards, including naming conventions, version control (via Git), and CI/CD practices for dbt projects.
• Convert raw, unstructured data into clean, structured datasets to drive advanced analytical insights and informed decision-making.
• Drive data driven initiatives to improve efficiencies and business intelligence across the company.
