Job summary

Datavail seeks an Analytics Business Analyst to join the Data Management unit. You will help define client requirements, document them, and work with developers to design and test Analytics applications in data ingestion, reporting/dashboard development, or AI/ML analytics.

You will work with the technical delivery and account management teams to ensure customer satisfaction, deliver Analytics solutions, and provide advisory guidance on best practices for the Data Management group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field.
• Healthcare experience with healthcare data is required.
• 3–5 years professional services experience delivering on client projects.
• Hands-on, team player willing to take on work to ensure project success.
• Develops solutions to unusual complexity requiring ingenuity and innovation.
• Develops solutions to unique challenges that may set precedents for future decisions.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Data analytics/data warehousing knowledge; cloud platforms incl. GCP, Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake; cloud certifications from AWS/Azure/Databricks.
• Experience with data ingestion, reporting/dashboard development, or AI/ML analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining client technical and business requirements and document them.
• Work with developers to design and test Analytics applications (data ingestion, reporting, AI/ML)
• Collaborate with delivery and account management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and value delivery.
• Provide consulting and advisory help in Analytics application development and best practices.
• Deliver solutions within the Data Management/Analytics unit, on-prem and cloud.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree, Business or Technical or a related field of study
• Healthcare experience and working knowledge with healthcare data and data systems is required
• 3 to 5 years professional services experience with leading projects for external or internal customers
• Hands-on / roll sleeves up work ethic, team player willing to take on work needed for project to succeed

• Data analytics/data warehousing specific knowledge. GCP, Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake. Cloud Certifications from AWS, Azure, or Databricks

• As an Analytics Business Analyst (BA) within the Data Management Business Unit at Datavail you will assist in defining client technical and business requirements, documenting these requirements, and working with the developers to design and test Analytics applications in the areas of Data Ingestion, Reporting/Dashboard development, or in advanced Analytical applications using AI/ML technologies
• You will work as part of a team with a focus on successful completion of these engagements, work closely with the technical delivery and account management team to (1) Ensure customer satisfaction (2) Develop Analytics applications as defined by customer needs and (3) Provide consulting and advisory help in the area of Analytics application development and best practices for the business unit and company
• This position will focus on delivery of solutions inside our Data Management/Analytics business unit
• Candidates with working knowledge and experience in delivering Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Reporting solutions both on-prem and in the cloud
• Experience with GCP, Databricks, Fabric, or Snowflake is a plus
• Knowledge or reporting/dashboard technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, or other is a plus as is the ability to develop source to target mappings are part of the overall data ingestion and reporting process
